The Pathways Skill Development Program helps children and teenagers graduate high school on time, begin meaningful careers, and thrive in a rapidly changing economy. We offer life-changing programs during afterschool hours as well as healthy meals – all at no cost to families.
Pathways Summer Enrichment
STEAM, sun, and summer fun!
As a continuation of our Pathways Skill Development Program, our summer session is jam-packed with fun activities, educational field trips, and STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts, and math). The Summer Enrichment Program also includes lunch and snacks served daily.
Construction Trades
Pre-Apprenticeship Training for Full-Time Employment
Youth Guidance provides a registered Construction Trades Pre-Apprenticeship Program, where students (ages 17-24) receive training in five trades and obtain up to six industry certifications. Upon completion of the program, students gain assistance securing full-time employment in the local trade sector.
Culinary Academy
Training Youth for Culinary Careers
Youth Guidance offers culinary classes for teens and young adults, providing industry certifications, real-world experience in a professional teaching kitchen, and practical application of the fundamentals of cooking techniques, including roasting, grilling, submerged poaching, and more.
