Volunteer

“Youth Guidance’s mentoring program has enabled me to positively influence the lives of individuals that need it the most.” – Cole Bradberry

Change Lives. Volunteer.

Volunteers are an integral part of everything we do at Youth Guidance. Each year, 60-70 volunteers work directly with our children in one-on-one and group settings.

Volunteer roles include (but are not limited to):

3 Types of Volunteer Opportunities

Academic Mentor

Provide academic support, homework help, and encouragement for children after school.

Time Commitment: 2-4 hours per week.

Guest Speaker

Guest speakers have knowledge in a particular field and share it with our children in the form of a single presentation or activity.

Time Commitment: Less than 1 hour per week

Marketing Assistant

Assistance is needed with setting up for special events, mailing fundraising appeals, and other activities to raise funds for Youth Guidance programs.

Time Commitment: 1-3 hours per week
