Empowering
the Next
Generation
Youth Guidance is building a state-of-the-art facility for academic enrichment, life skills, and workforce development.
In May 2024, we will begin construction on the renovation of our 8,600 facility, a historic landmark that once served as the public library.
Our redesigned facility will include:
- Commercial kitchen for culinary arts
- Workshop for vocational training
- Technology lab for computer programming
- Library for tutoring and homework help
- Multipurpose Rooms for life skills and STEAM
You Can Help Build
Brighter Futures
Our goal is to help Indian River County children, teenagers, and young adults break the cycle of poverty. Redesigning the Youth Guidance facility will allow us to accomplish the following:
- Increase the number of youth we serve from 50 to 75 daily.
- Offer young adults additional certification-based courses in culinary arts, computer programming, and healthcare.
- Expand our pre-apprenticeship and begin offering apprenticeships to fill gaps in our local workforce.
